Wisconsin Prison Services System Case Study

OVERVIEW
The client reached out to me about designing a website that evolved into a complex dashboard to address the gap in inmate-to-loved-one communication, as well as quality of life service requests for currently incarcerated inmates.
THE CHALLENGE
On top of making sure everything was compliant with the D.o.C., there was a need for a wallet system so inmates could have users fill a digital wallet on their behalf to purchase services, so we integrated Stripe in this project, as well as an Admin dashboard to handle service requests and make sure the services were completed promptly.
THE GOAL
The primary goals and objectives set for this project were to ensure the wallet system worked properly, to implement an easy-to-use Inmate Directory system, a ticket system, and to enable users to easily add new Inmate profiles to their family group, allowing them to manage their wallet and service requests. Also, to implement an email receipt system for new services purchased, so there are always receipts for everything done.
